Consulting Manager Dan Wood has extensive government, public policy and public sector innovation experience, and leads Smart City work at GWI.
Dan helps clients to transform their business through a deep understanding of the public sector and a passion for continual improvement, efficiency and transparency. His key areas of expertise include public policy, community engagement and ICT-led innovation.
Dan has led public sector innovation engagements across more than a quarter of Queensland, including the largest Smart City consultation in Australia’s history, and produced four digitally enabled economic development plans, one of which has been nationally awarded. Prior to his government career, Dan was a prosecutor with the Queensland Director of Public Prosecutions and remains a solicitor with the Supreme Court of Queensland.
