Experiencing burgeoning business growth within the Australian data industry, GWI has today announced two changes to its leadership team, with the creation of two senior executive positions.
John Heath has been appointed to the newly created position of Director of Operations to drive strategic business operations and finance whilst former Consulting Manager Tim Sheehan has been promoted to the position of Director of Client Strategy.
GWI CEO Neil Makepeace said the changes come in response to overwhelming demand for data-driven services and the need to provide additional focus on business operations whilst maintaining client service excellence.
“The growth in data and the accompanying increasing awareness of how it can be used strategically – by both government and business – has resulted in enormous growth for GWI as a business and these appointments will help us continue to deliver exceptional value to clients as we continue to expand” he said.
Newly appointed Director of Operations John Heath is passionate about the way information and data helps businesses grow and understands how critical these assets are for businesses to stay ahead of the pack.
“Today’s businesses are increasingly reliant on getting accurate, relevant and timeous information to maintain a competitive edge.
“The ones that will succeed will understand how the data impacts their business processes, how information can best affect decision making and be able to communicate this effectively” he said.
Director of Client Strategy Tim Sheehan welcomed the opportunity to oversee the company’s client strategy and believes GWI is uniquely positioned to help clients unlock the value of their data.
“Actionable information and data reduces the need for guesswork. Our unique capabilities help take clients on the journey to democratise their date to achieve efficiencies, solve complex problems and deeply understand their customers” he said.
GWI is experiencing such strong growth, the company has recently relocated its national headquarters to accommodate its burgeoning staff requirements.
The new office at Level 9, 200 Mary St in Brisbane was officially opened by Queensland’s Deputy Premier, Treasurer and Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships Minister Jackie Trad on Thursday, May 10.
