GWI is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2018 Darkness to Daylight Challenge, a 110km overnight run that raises tens of thousands to help end domestic violence.

A long-time supporter of the event, GWI is pleased to be joining as an official sponsor for the first time in 2018.

From dusk on 23 May to dawn on 24 May, the GWI team will run the 110km relay, with a goal to raise over $5,000 to support the victims of domestic violence.

Each kilometre of the run represents the number of women, children and men who die because of domestic violence in Australia each year.

Candles will be carried throughout the night to symbolise speaking out about domestic violence and bringing those affected out of the darkness and into the daylight.

To join the fight and get involved visit mycause.com.au or to support the GWI team’s fundraising efforts please visit mycause.com.au/gwi.

Each year GWI contributes hundreds of thousands in funds for a range of charities chosen by staff and through a formal pro bono program.
