GWI is a team of independent advisors to government, business and communities. We unlock the potential of information and data to create business value and solve our clients’ most perplexing problems.
We’ve been doing work that matters for more than 10 years, giving our clients the evidence to make good decisions, and the roadmap and resources to execute with confidence.
Using data and information to get to the heart of what matters, we are unafraid to ask the hard questions to help today’s leaders — business, political and community — create solutions for a better future and give them the bandwidth to deliver.
A Brisbane born and operated business, we are proud of the work we do. We started small in 2008 and are now approaching 50 Queensland employees. GWI is an equal opportunities employer — with a very strong female contingent — and we are supportive of a flexible work environment.
Turning strategy into something real.
Our hunger to make a difference has seen GWI make important contributions to our communities.
We’ve been influential in ensuring the privacy of more than 500,000 school children across Queensland. GWI was also instrumental in designing and supporting the development of the ‘Our Child’ system, allowing the Queensland Police Service to access information directly from child safety and education to help find missing children who are currently placed in out-of-home care.
We’ve helped enrich the lives of more than 100,000 elderly people by creating more efficient and timely information, and have partnered with more than 100 communities across Queensland. GWI was also involved in developing the concept for the first Smart Hub in a regional area — always exploring what’s possible.
Backed up by our credentials.
Bolstered by rigorous systems (ISO 9001 Standards) and expertise in privacy and security, GWI protects our clients from increasing risks of security, privacy and digital rights breaches and responsibilities.
We are guided by strong leadership and mature governance processes. Our board holds decades of senior leadership and governance experience, with two non-executive directors bringing fully independent oversight and invaluable advice.
GWI provides services across the areas of information and data, and business and ICT.
